Satonda Island Tour

Service Description

This tour package lets you explore not only some of Moyo Island and its beauties, but also Satonda Island which is one of only 5 islands of its kind in the world. Boasting a salt lake much like the dead sea which causes you to float effortlessly in the water and an island hike to a view point. During the trip, we'll also go snorkelling in two locations and see the Sengelo Waterfall, the tallest one on Moyo Island. As the sun sets on Moyo, we stop off to see the flying foxes, the largest flying mammal, taking off in the thousands to eat food. Your schedule: You'll leave Moyo Island at 12:30 pm and after about 20 minutes on the private speed boat, you'll arrive at Sengelo Waterfall where you'll get to see the beautiful waterfall and have a snorkel on the reef. At 14:00, you'll leave for Satonda where we will arrive approximately at 15:15. There you can do the hike to the viewpoint and then visit the salt water lake that makes this island so special. Afterwards, it's possible to go snorkelling on the reef just in front of Satonda Island which is truly a beautiful, healthy reef. You'll leave Satonda Island around 17:00 to see the flying foxes and the local village that they live by. You'll arrive back at Blue EmOcean around 19:00.
